A Little Birdie Told Me.......  Part of our 3 Cheers Daisy Project

Need – Small paper plates (or cut circles out of card stock paper) , glue, feathers , markers, glue gun, orange card stock, sandwich bags, markers

To get ready:

1)      Leader cut out circle for body, head, and orange triangle for beak

2)      Small paper plate- cut out center of plate, fold circle in half, cut a little ways in the circle so you can put the head in this spot later,  use remaining edge of paper plate to cut circles for the birds head

3)      Orange Paper- cut triangles for beak

4)      Place a  head, body, and beak in a bag (so you can just hand one out to each girl)

For Activity:

1)      Plug in glue gun

2)      Put out feathers on the middle of the table for girls to choose from.

3)      Put out glue on table

4)      Give each girl a bag with body contents.

5)      Put an eye on each side of the head with a marker

6)      Glue on beak to head

7)      Put glue over outside of the circle

8)      Glue feathers all over the circle

9)      Glue some feathers on the end of the circle that’s not cut (for tail)

10)   Have Adult glue the head into the slit at the end of the circle with glue gun.
